Kubuntu 11.10安裝VirtualBox Guest Additions

我在Windows上使用VirtualBox起了個VM安裝了Kubuntu 11.10,但發現顯示大小無法改變，需要安裝VirtualBox Guest Additions。

但安裝Guest Additions還要先下指令:
sudo apt-get install dkms gcc

來安裝DKMS和GCC。

VirtualBox 3.2.8上安裝Ubtntu 10.10

一切都很順利，但在安裝Guest Addition時會說偵測到不知道的X版本，
導致解析度無法調整，解決方法為在guest的ubuntu裡面使用:

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose-guest-x11


指令安裝必要的東西後，重新開機，就能順利地調整解析度了

1. 安裝編譯器和核心header、安裝VirtualBox額外功能程式
zypper in linux-kernel-headers kernel-source kernel-syms gcc make
sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86-run
reboot

2. 解決GUI大小無法隨視窗大小動態變動
修改/etc/X11/xorg.conf，在Screen section中刪掉所有Modes開頭的內容，在Monitor Section中拿掉Option "preferredModexxx 開頭的內容，存檔。
修改/etc/modprobe.d/unsupported-modules將allow_unsupported_modules 0,由0改為1後存檔。

3. 重啟服務
/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S02vboxadd-service start

4. ctrl+Alt+Backspace重啟X Server
